Why the under-eye needs its own approach.
A polynucleotide (PN) injectable formulated for the periorbital area. The skin under the eyes is among the thinnest on the body — around 0.5mm versus 2mm elsewhere — with fewer oil glands, little underlying fat, and constant movement from blinking, so it shows lines, laxity, hollowing and dark circles early.
The PN supports cellular repair and elasticity and gradually thickens that translucent skin, easing the shadowing and the dark circles caused by underlying vessels showing through. It demands precise technique and a product suited to fragile skin.
What to expect in a session.
Numbing cream goes on 20–30 minutes beforehand, then injections are placed at precise points around the eye with a fine needle; the session takes 20–30 minutes.
Small papules or mild swelling may appear briefly. Because the under-eye is vascular, bruising is possible — worth factoring into timing around important events.

How does Under-Eye PN Booster differ from tear trough filler?
Tear trough filler uses hyaluronic acid (HA) to add volume and physically fill the hollow beneath the eye, providing more immediate results. PN Booster works differently — it delivers polynucleotide molecules that stimulate the skin's own repair and regeneration over time, improving skin quality, thickness and circulation from within. The two treatments address different aspects of the under-eye area and can be complementary. Your doctor will advise which approach — or combination — suits your concern.
Can PN Booster help with dark circles?
Dark circles have multiple causes — vascularity showing through thin skin, pigmentation, hollowing, or structural shadows. PN Booster may help with the skin quality component by gradually thickening and improving translucent under-eye skin, reducing how much underlying blood vessels show through. It is not a treatment for pigment-based dark circles. Your doctor will assess the cause of your dark circles during consultation.
Is treatment painful in the under-eye area?
Topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure to minimise discomfort. Most patients find the injections tolerable. The under-eye area is sensitive, so some patients may experience mild stinging during injection, but this is brief. Your doctor will work carefully to ensure your comfort throughout.
Will I bruise?
Bruising is possible in the under-eye area due to the density of superficial blood vessels. Fine needles are used to minimise this risk, but some patients do experience temporary bruising that may last a few days. If you have an important event upcoming, your doctor can advise on timing.
How many sessions are needed?
A course of three to four sessions, spaced three to four weeks apart, is typically recommended. Improvement is gradual — the skin progressively thickens and regenerates over the treatment course. Maintenance sessions every six to nine months help sustain results.
Who is not suitable for this treatment?
It may not be recommended for individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have active infections around the eye area, have known allergies to polynucleotide ingredients, or certain medical conditions. A full medical consultation is required before treatment.
