Wrinkles & Fine Lines
Expression lines respond to one type of treatment; etched static lines respond to another. Our doctors classify which kind of wrinkle each area shows, then select a precise protocol — typically conservative, often combined.
Dynamic lines vs static lines.
Dynamic wrinkles show only when you move — crow’s feet, frown lines, forehead lines. Static wrinkles stay visible at rest, etched in over years of repeated creasing.
Dynamic lines respond to neurotoxin, which eases the muscle pull that creates them. Static lines need collagen-stimulating treatments or bio-remodellers that improve the skin itself.
We aim for natural softening, not a frozen look — so we start conservative and review at two weeks.
Treatments we use most.
- Neurotoxin Injection (BOTOX®) — relaxes crow's feet, frown and forehead lines; effect builds over 7–14 days.
- Bio-Remodelling Injection (Profhilo®) — smooths fine lines and crepey texture by stimulating collagen and elastin.
- Polynucleotide Skin Booster (Rejuran®) — supports regeneration and dermal remodelling; used alongside for fine lines.
- Under-Eye Polynucleotide (PN) Booster — for the delicate skin around the eyes: addresses crow's feet and fine lines in the periorbital area.
Wrinkles & Fine Lines FAQ
What's the difference between dynamic and static wrinkles?
Dynamic wrinkles appear during expression and vanish at rest — these respond well to neurotoxin. Static wrinkles are etched in and visible at rest — these need collagen-stimulating treatments, bio-remodellers or filler-based volume rather than neurotoxin alone.
How long do neurotoxin results last?
Typically 3–4 months for first-time patients, sometimes longer with repeat sessions. Duration varies with dose, metabolism, muscle activity and area. Your doctor will discuss what to expect.
Will it make my face look frozen?
Not when dosed conservatively. We aim for subtle softening while preserving natural movement — the frozen look usually reflects over-treatment. We start conservative and reassess at the 2-week review.
Can I treat dynamic and static lines together?
Yes — combination protocols are common. Neurotoxin addresses the muscle activity behind the line, while bio-remodellers or polynucleotide injections improve the static crease. Your doctor sets the sequence and timing.
