Body Contouring
Non-surgical contouring targets localised fat and skin laxity in specific areas — it's not weight loss. Treatment is most effective for patients near their stable weight who want refinement in a defined area.
Contouring isn’t weight loss.
Contouring devices (focused-ultrasound, RF microneedling) target localised fat and skin laxity in specific areas. They aren’t designed for — or effective as — weight loss.
If you have substantial weight to lose, a structured medical weight management programme usually comes first — addressing weight, body composition and metabolic health — before localised contouring.
Your consultation decides whether contouring, weight management, or both fits your goals.
Treatments we use most.
- Focused-Ultrasound Contouring (Ultraformer MPT®) — HIFU for localised fat reduction and tightening (chin, jawline, abdomen, arms).
- Fractional RF Microneedling (Morpheus 8®) — deeper RF for skin tightening and body remodelling in defined areas.
- Medical Weight Management (Mounjaro®) — doctor-supervised programme with regular medical review, for eligible patients.
Body Contouring FAQ
Is non-surgical body contouring the same as weight loss?
No. Contouring addresses localised fat and skin laxity in specific areas — it isn't a weight-loss treatment. If you have significant weight to lose, a medical weight management programme usually comes first.
How long until results appear?
Focused-ultrasound results develop over 8–12 weeks as the body processes treated tissue; RF microneedling tightening continues over 3–6 months. Multiple sessions are typically needed.
Is there downtime?
Focused-ultrasound has essentially none — mild tenderness for a few days. RF microneedling involves some social downtime depending on settings and depth.
