Sagging & Volume Loss

Skin laxity and lost facial volume are addressed through different mechanisms. Our doctors typically combine lifting protocols with volume restoration based on what your face actually needs.

Lifting and volume are different problems.

Facial ageing is three changes at once: skin laxity (collagen and elasticity), volume loss (fat pads and bone), and tissue descent. Treat only one and the result can look uneven.

Lifting treatments (HIFU, RF microneedling) heat the deeper layers to trigger collagen remodelling. Volumisers (collagen biostimulators, bio-remodellers) replace or rebuild the support that’s been lost.

Your doctor identifies which is the main driver for you and builds around it — combinations are common.

Sagging & Volume Loss FAQ

Is non-surgical lifting as effective as a facelift?

No — and we don't claim equivalence. A surgical facelift delivers more dramatic, longer-lasting lift, especially for advanced laxity. Non-surgical lifting suits mild-to-moderate laxity, or patients who don't want surgery. Your doctor will explain realistic improvement for your skin.

What's the difference between lifting and volume restoration?

They address different mechanisms. Sagging is lost structural support — addressed by lifting treatments that tighten skin and tissue. Volume loss is lost fat and bone — addressed by injectable volumisers that rebuild structure. Advanced ageing often benefits from both.

How long do results last?

Focused-ultrasound lifting typically lasts 12–18 months; collagen-stimulating injections 18–24 months; bio-remodellers are usually repeated every 6 months. Maintenance extends results.

Is there downtime?

Focused-ultrasound has essentially none — maybe mild redness for a few hours. RF microneedling involves 2–4 days of social downtime. Collagen-stimulating injections may cause minor bruising or swelling for 1–2 days.
