Hair Loss

Hair loss is a medical concern with multiple possible causes. Our doctors assess the underlying pattern before recommending treatment — programmes are individualised, evidence-based, and long-term.

Diagnosis before treatment.

Hair loss has many causes — genetic (androgenetic), shedding (telogen effluvium from stress, illness or pregnancy), nutritional, hormonal (thyroid, iron), autoimmune or scarring. The right treatment depends on identifying the cause.

So we start with a structured scalp exam, history and blood work to find reversible contributors — then recommend treatment only once the diagnosis is clear.

A doctor-led, individualised programme.

Built per patient around the cause and severity. It may include:

  • Doctor-prescribed oral or topical medication where appropriate
  • In-clinic regenerative procedures, matched to the diagnosis
  • Blood work for reversible factors (iron, ferritin, thyroid, hormones)
  • Structured review at 3 and 6 months to track response

Treatments we use most.

Hair Loss FAQ

What kinds of hair loss can be treated?

Most commonly androgenetic alopecia (male and female pattern), telogen effluvium (shedding from stress, illness or pregnancy), and post-inflammatory hair loss. Scarring alopecia and severe dermatologic conditions may need specialist dermatologist referral.

How is hair loss assessed?

Medical history, scalp examination, family-history patterns, and blood tests for reversible contributors (iron, thyroid, hormonal factors). A proper diagnosis comes before any treatment recommendation.

How long before I see results?

The hair-growth cycle is slow: visible regrowth typically takes 3–6 months of consistent treatment, with maximum response around 9–12 months. Programmes are long-term.
